Everything is awesome

CHARACTERS: Cisco Ramon and you
LOCATIONS: All over
WARNINGS: Too much swag.
SUMMARY: Cisco is wandering, wanna wander too?

01. The Worm Hole

[He hasn't been to an arcade in a long time but then again, he hasn't had this much free time on his hands since he was a student. It's a new and different world here and he finds himself with more time on his hands to pretty much do whatever he wants.

And he wants to shoot virtual zombies.

He did start off with Mario and then a few fighting games but they weren't quite as fun as the terrible 2D blood splatter of this retro as hell game. He's getting progressively better, even if the controls are hella old school. He slowly started to get into the leader board.

Carefully inputting his name so everyone knows he's been, saw and conquered this mofo of a game. The almighty king of games: ASS]

Boom! [He grins at anyone nearby, the height of maturity.] I'm so rocking this.

02 Planetarium

Space is so awesome.

[Did he say that out loud? He didn't mean to. But it is. He's standing there, looking at the displays, a dorky expression on his face. He wants to reach out and touch the giant hanging planets.

He leans over the balcony a little, half tempted but fortunately, he doesn't want to die in a planet-whacking incident and forever be 'that idiot' so he keeps his hands to himself.

And makes a mental note to hit up Barry for a Star Trek marathon way sooner.]

03 Deja Brew

[Jitters is way better. This is the bias opinion he has decided to stick with despite it being lterally no better or worse than his home coffee shop.

Still. Jitters is way better. Just saying.

There wasn't even an option to get a 'Flash' here and that was his favourite.

Though hey, clean slate with the barristas, maybe this time he won't awkwardly hit on over half of them and end up having to face them every day. He should learn his lesson but no, that is a consistent problem in his life. Pretty much the same reason he can't go to the library - seriously, never rap your pick up lines. It does not work and it will make you want to die. And never, ever go back to anywhere he'd done that.

He waits in line, bouncing from foot to foot, eyeing the board with uncertainty. Can he make a Flash without it being an actual drink here? Can't be that hard. Maybe he could make it a thing. Note to self.]

ooc: If you want to hit me up with something else or plot something, feel free.

[ take one guess at who the lucky chap is standing behind cisco? one guess … ]

[ alec stands in line, tall, dressed in black, hair slightly a mess on his head, but there's a patience to his posture, regardless of how dark it may be given it's shrouded in dark clothes. waiting in line for a coffee is the norm in new york; even as a shadowhunter, where he can use his invisibility rune to disappear from sight and even lift a coffee if he dared, he had to wait. it was all part of blending in with the mundanes — and it was rude to steal while dressed in invisibility. ]

[ the guy in front of him is jumping on his feet a little too much. alec glances over his shoulder at the line behind him, noting only two people stand looking bored there. looking ahead, his eyes draw to the man in front of him, noticing how he seems to be very much like max, uncertainty laced in his expression and impatience animating his step. ]

[ it's then impatience begins to brew inside of him. standing tall and still, he listens to the murmurings at the front of the line — a woman taking too long to give her order, and a barista too caught up in decent conversation to nudge her along — and the man in front of him keeps bouncing. ]

Jumping around isn't going to make the line move any faster.

[ alec shrugs his shoulders. ] I don't. [ and ain't that the truth. alec likes to tell himself he doesn't care about much — it makes the whole emotional thing easier to swallow. ]

[ to tell the truth, he is bored standing in line. he's used to having someone by his side — izzy, jace, max, magnus, another member of the institute — to keep him entertained and distracted. though alec has never minded his own company, being in this city has put him on edge. a month getting "settled" hasn't shifted the discomfort. ]

[ he glances over cisco's head to the menu and the line, noting how it's only just moved up by one sole person. his gaze falls back to cisco. ]
Okay. [ crossing his arms against his chest, he continues, ] Jump. See if it makes the line move faster.

[ alec predicts what cisco's about to do, and when cisco actually does it, he's not surprised. though, he stands behind him, amused by cisco's choice in being a smart alec. it's such a max or jace thing to do. ]

[ his lips curve upward, and he even shakes his head. when he looks back at cisco, the amusement still brightens his features, but that smile is gone as he looks at him pointedly. when he speaks next, it's to inform him of the rules neither of them had cared to establish. ]
That's cheating. Timing your jumps with the person who's just finished their order doesn't count.
