Believe her, she's never told anyone they have a really fantastic face before either. Today is full of new experiences.

She does relax a little though, when he insists that it's okay, and her eyes flutter to the ground for a moment when she hears him say that it was cute. Then he extends his hand and she glances back up to his eyes, like she's really checking to see how genuine he's being.

Felicity gets her answer though, when she catches the way his smirk fades into something much sweeter. So she takes his hand. Her shake isn't as firm as it will be in a few years, but at least there's some intentionality to it. "Felicity. It's nice to meet you."

A person craning their neck to see what's going on up here catches her eye though, and Felicity glances behind Derek for two seconds before realizing she's never quite let go of his hand. Which, of course, she drops as quickly as possible without being too abrupt about it.

"Um, you should ... get your packet, before all these people behind you decide to mob us for holding them up."
