welcome to trash, population me.

( happy to see her or not, kara just can't believe sara lance kicked her own door down. she'd already called maintenance! they were going to come fix it! had she taken two seconds to ask, they probably would have told her!

nevermind the fact that kara's the reason that sara's door didn't work in the first place. that's not relevant. she doesn't need to disclose that little detail, does she? not anymore, anyway. the bigger issue here is the door in fragments in front of sara's room...

... which, apparently, happens to be right across the hall from kara's room, where kara had just been sleeping. in her bed, in her room. across from sara's room, where sara will sleep. in her bed.

the mental image of the last time she'd seen sara lance in a bed flashes through her mind, and kara has to swallow down the thickness that pulls in her throat before she can stammer out another word, trying hard to fight the flush that she just knows must have bloomed on her cheeks. maybe it'll help if she crosses her arms over her chest, adjusts her stance, tries to look tough. maybe that will distract from her momentary fluster. )

Obviously. I can't believe you would kick the — okay, I can believe it, but ... where are you going to sleep now?

( because sleeping in a room without a door was just not something kara's brain was capable of accepting. )
