"Maybe not," he admits, "but in my defense, I don't know what I was expecting," he adds, leaning back in his chair a little to stretch his arms before sitting back up again. He's not sure why he gets the feeling that her hitting on some of his likes the way she is, is something she might consider a bad thing.
He shrugs a little. "I like working out. I don't like going to the gym," he corrects her. "Too many people. But I think, for a while, that's kind of what I'm going to have to do anyway." Seeing as how he doesn't have his own stuff here in that respect. Eventually, he'll be able to buy more, but for now, with his wealth still tucked away in Beacon Hills under the high school in the Hale family vault, he'll have to actually work for it this time around.
"Well, that makes me feel a little better, considering the kids who showed me how seemed to think I was some kind of idiot. That was less embarrassing than my uncle thinking I'm some kind of idiot because I suck at it, though," he laughs, shrugging. It's all just a lot. Why don't people just call people, anymore? Why is everything texting and twittering and whatever "Insta" is?
