It was a strange phenomenon, and not being able to censor the words that leave her lips is a little disconcerting, to say the least. But it's far less nerve-wracking to admit that her new conversation partner is really rather attractive than it would be to attempt to talk her way out of a stickier situation.

All in all, and despite their initial bad beginning, this wasn't all that awful. She's still uncomfortably wet, but Jyn's been in worse circumstances.

"Just Jyn", she replies, releasing her grip and stuffing her hands into her pockets, shrugging thin shoulders slightly. "I was always taught that standing out was a bad thing - doesn't seem so bad right now."

She'd like to think that she's a pretty astute judge of character, and thus far, she doesn't sense any danger, or any nefarious intentions with her. Probably a good thing, because although she's small, she does know how to take care of herself. That's neither here nor there, though, and she huffs out a soft chuckle, nodding. "It's pretty obvious, huh? Yeah, I'm new - very new. Still trying to find my footing. What about you?"
