( it's a voice some small knot within her chest recognizes before she does, in full coherency, fingers raveled about her bag at the front of her shoulder clasping a little tighter as she pauses. thick lashes squint over her hues as she makes out his figure in the rain, lifting free hand to press back the stray, black tendrils that've clung in swirls about her temples. it didn't surprise her, both seeing him coming from that gym and realizing they'd both been within it's confines. it wasn't a big place, but when they both had their own individual worlds to slip to, it never really felt that way.

a snicker, more or less swallowed by the chorus of the rain now falling around them. it wasn't angered to the point where it created a burden in making him out, now that he was closer, but slowly bit by bit she could feel the slight chill of the water soaking into her sports bra, matching shorts now both darker in hue.
) I never minded a little rain.

( a little would be a vast understatement- really she's lost track of how many days it's been, now, but that seems to be a common theme with or without the gloom of weather. ) There was some kind of broadcast sent to our phones. To stay inside? ( tone suggests she isn't aware of exactly why the city's suggested such a thing, but he doesn't seem to hold any form of panic, either. an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, doesn't it? )
