[ This place really shouldn't surprise him so much. The people here are sociable and the ones Steve knows they definitely wouldn't miss this invite. He's not that surprised to see Kimberly here tonight. He smiles to himself and relaxes a little more knowing that he has a familiar face standing before him. A face he hasn't seen since the ball. But still she looks--it's different when you're talking to someone and they don't have pants on.

But Steve pushes through. He's an adult. He doesn't need to focus to keep his eyes up. They stay on her face as she settles down to sit near him. He turns towards her after she's comfortable and grins. ]
