( she can hear the straying notes lingering from the ear bud he's removed in favor of her voice, her company. they'd made it this far without having so much as sampled the taste of the other's mouth, how tongue and lips and just enough of teeth would collide together—how it'd feel to have him that way, but her resolve is slipping. she wasn't a woman who needed the physical in order to grow close to another, didn't need the hunger of flesh to fall asleep beside him and feel as if she'd found a safe place, somewhere she could hide and rest.

he isn't making it any easier, with the way he's talking to her, half-lidded in his gaze and words left weighted with his breath,
with want. it's not hard to recognize, not with the way it sends a familiar zing of a chill along her spine, each of her limbs, a electricity straight to her fingertips.

they'd been so good, but god, if his tone doesn't beg for her to be a little bad.
) Yeah?

( now she's just as breathy, just as subtle in her tone as it turns to something candy-like, almost kittenish. she laces an ankle through his, gently breaking from the way his hand shadows her own to mimic exactly what he's described— a slow card through his hair, reading every little reaction his body, his features illicit. ) Like this?
