Derek is unfortunately not the first person in Gamma building Kal has seen having troubles with their door today. He's beginning to feel like his smooth entrance was the fluke and everyone else's problems are the more usual course of events. He isn't sure he should be interfering, but he'd hate for someone to get in trouble for property damage on their first day.
