[this particular bedding arrangement leaves a lot to be desired, space-wise at the very least. mick has half a mind to just haul sara on top of him if for no reason other than that extra bit of space to sprawl. but sara has other thoughts in mind, apparently, flipping to face him as leonard comments on the nature of government subsidized housing. mick laughs quietly, chimes back with a gonna need a bigger apartment. especially if you two are planning on making yourself at home in the future.
sara is impossibly close, close enough that he can make out little flecks of color in her eyes from the dim light filtering through his sheer curtains. he thinks about the last time they were this close, and how different this is in comparison. perhaps the biggest surprise is how he likes that it's the three of them in this too small bed. somewhere, he thinks, someone is laughing at him for not immediately recoiling at the thought.
mick crooks his finger in one of leonard's belt loops, giving a determined tug. it pulls him even closer to sara, mouth landing against the shell of her ear, knees knocking against her own.]
Where the hell am I gonna find a bed big enough for the three of us? And who am I gonna have to torch to get it for free?
