Claire listens to Magnus as he tells her about his products, nodding. Under perfect circumstances, she'd want to test them out, just make sure they're not actually going to make things worse, but 1) she knows nothing of magic, and 2) they don't have that kind of luxury. She has to trust Magnus and that his products work, and honestly? He's not giving her any kind of untrustworthy vibes, at least.
"Alright, good. We should have most pressing things covered. Hopefully it'll only last a few days and we don't have to worry about long-term effects. Can you imagine if we suddenly had a resurgence of scurvy? At least we're not risking hypercalcemia, but too much calcium is also not exactly good, either."
She bites on her bottom lip, giving him a look.
"Maybe the people responsible didn't realize that it could have actual health consequences. Maybe there isn't an ulterior motive, besides... I don't know, wash our mouths and have less sex?"
