i. orange you glad to - hey, get off!

[Sometimes, Vasquez doesn't understand the future or people. He doesn't understand why everyone is running around like idiots, he doesn't understand the powder, but mostly, he doesn't understand why he isn't being allowed to shoot the idiota who dumped the orange powder all over him and then just ran away. Glowering, he goes for his gun, only to remember that he's stopped carrying it because it's against the rules and all.

Still, it's hardly like he's happy about it. Trying to spit it out and cough it out of his lungs, he's in the process of wiping it through his eyes and trying not to smell of oranges when he notices that people seem to be drifting very close to him, almost like they're gravitating to his circle.]

What?

[Maybe he's being short-tempered, but he doesn't enjoy having to shove people off of him when they get too close. He's not even having the chance to escape, because no matter where he steps, it's like someone else gets in his path, like they're locked into him. He definitely doesn't understand this place, but he thinks he'd fare better if he could at least be a little drunk for this.]

ii. kissa-me

[After Caroline had implied that Vasquez maybe wouldn't look so good without his beard, he'd done the reasonable manly and mature thing. He'd shaved it all off, leaving only a little growth. He keeps having to touch it, though, leading him to paw at his own face often.

He's in the middle of trying to scratch the itch, his back to everyone, when he feels the tap on his shoulder and someone telling him that he just needs to cover for a second and they'll be back soon after.

Lost, Vasquez isn't sure what's going on, but when he turns around, there's a few lines to little booths and he's being hastily shoved into one by the other man (who seems intent on needing a very urgent piss). Turning to one of the other women, he gives her a wary look.]

What did I just get volunteered to do?

[Impatiently, she points up to the sign that says KISSING BOOTH, which...it's not what he would have expected, but he thinks that he can cope with this. Shrugging, he figures if it's only for a few minutes, he might as well. After all, who turns down opportunities like this?]

Who's next?
