If there's one thing Alex will never, ever turn down, it's free food.

Cadelle is pretty cool from what Alex can tell so far, but he hasn't been here long enough to be an accurate judge. For the most part, he's been observing. Locals, transplants like himself; the city in general. He's been spending the majority of his time on the roof of the apartment building he's been assigned to and painting. This place for sure has a view from the roof and the sunset is always a fan favorite.

Not that Alex has fans; he doesn't typically share his work unless the subject of a painting or sketch specifically asks, anyway.

Which is neither here nor there. The food here is incredible and that's the point. He'll be found wandering around the food cards and sampling from various places for the best possible selection. He's friendly and will strike up conversation with just about anyone if given the chance. Which, incidentally, the especially long line at one particular vendor whose menu he can't even see from here gives him the chance to do.

"Do you know what they have at that stall up there? What's all the fuss about?" he asks the nearest person.

He's never worked a kissing booth before, though, so bear with him while he makes awkward jokes and is his embarrassingly dorky self for the first...several before he can kind of get into a manufactured comfort zone within the specific situation. Alex is pretty outgoing by nature but this is still a little outside his normal comfort zone. But that's the fun of this place, right? Trying new things? That's why he's here, anyway, so bring it on.
