The mention of Natasha has Loki scowling at the meager contents of his refrigerator. Strange has him gripping the handle so hard he would surely have cracked it, if he still had his strength. Finally, Thor's mention of Selvig has him slamming the door again (annoyed that it doesn't slam as effectively as he might have wanted it to) and facing his brother again with his arms folded.

"Anyone else?" he asks in that dangerously quiet voice, and continues before Thor can think up any more examples of humans worth his consideration. "I have no interest in pretending. I wanted, for one regrettable moment, to know what it's like to be human, and now I know. My plan now is to wait this out and hope it ends. What would you do, if you were stuck like this?"
