At that, Caitlin looks a little more comfortable with the idea of making the purchase. She might not need it now, but it sounds like she'll be able to find use for it without it ending up being some random and frivolous purchase. Back home, Caitlin could afford to be a little frivolous with her spending habits now and again because she'd been making a lot of money and had been able to squirrel away a decent savings. Here, she's going to have to start over with that. She'll get there eventually, she's just not there yet.

"Maybe I will, then," she says, meaning that she'll buy it. "If you think that I'll have somewhere to wear it eventually and it won't just end up useless in the back of my closet," she adds, sounding amused, with a lopsided grin that suggests she's just as amused as she is guilty as charged.

She looks interested when Diana says she works at the museum. Once upon a time, when she'd had time, Caitlin had loved wandering through the museum in Central City. "Do you? I love museums. I'll have to stop there sometime."
