Whatever Stark is doing, he's doing it with no small amount of concentration. It's no surprise he's already dissected several things, he does have that sort of mind. Shockingly, Loki isn't trying to look intimidating or provoke a confrontation, though if he'd had more time to prepare, he might have come up with something more subtle than walking up in broad daylight with barely an attempt to disguise himself. Apparently this is what forthright honesty looks like on him.

At the chipper voice coming from the phone, Loki shifts his angle to look at the phone more head-on. "Hm. I don't recall that voice from your building," he says thoughtfully. "The building was decidedly sarcastic. Is...she?" he hazards, being at the moment rather attuned to the uses of pronouns, "is she quite well?"
