"Very retro," Lydia says approvingly, a smirk on her face when she shakes her head to dismiss his reason behind not offering her one of the earbuds. She prefers the club scene because the noise distracts her from the noise in her head, but this particular bar isn't really her cup of tea, even excluding that it's weird having a date in the place where Stiles works.

So when Baby brings it up, Lydia shakes her head again. "Not forward, please. Please lets get out of here," she laughs, getting to her feet without another question. She's more than happy to have a reason that isn't her own for why having the date here is no bueno.

"My turn to be forward: your place or mine?" she asks with a smirk that says she's kidding, even if she's only half-joking. "We could take a walk and find ourselves a new venue, just...you know, not a long one." Because it's cold out and she's in a skirt. He understands, she's sure. He seems like a smart guy.
