Lydia's definitely much better than Spencer at that sort of thing, that's for sure. She'd basically carried the whole thing, in his opinion. Reid isn't rude either, he's just, well, a lot for some people to handle, off-putting and weird. Less so here, where he's what everyone else seems to classify as utterly mundane-- it's a nice change for him.

"Pretty much," he answers, not wanting to pressure her to talk about the supernatural side of things, which might be sensitive. "Nice to meet you, Malia."
